From The Hip {A series of SPs}

I told you guys how I was inspired by the latest Anthro catalog - where all shots we taken from the waist down to showcase their Spring skirts, cropped pants and wedge sandals. Well inspired I was so I took a few SPs to try my own "From the Hip" series.

And in honor of March Madness...

From the { Hip }

It's no secret that I love Anthropologie. Sometimes I step into the stores with no intention of buying anything - just to simply soak up all the creativity and eye candy. Of course while my intentions are good my willpower is not.

An easier and cheaper way to absorb all that inspiration is through their catalog which is always a treat to find in my mailbox. And I was beyond delighted with the theme of the latest catalog.

From the Hip features all of their latest fashions from the waist down. Fun, flirty images of cropped pants, skirts and platform wedges all shot with uniquely clever composition:

Love it. Can't get enough.

{ Because } What else is there to do?

My baby {MacBook} is in the shop {Apple Store} and I really don't know what to do with myself. My 365 is suffering - I'm still taking photos but I have a lot of catch up posting to do. I have MASSIVE amounts of photos to edit and we're trying to save money so we can buy a house someday in the not too distant future.
So what am I'm doing? Online window shopping. AKA torturing myself.

Creamy white items of decor to put in my imaginary creamy white home with awesome creamy white light spilling from every room.

A really sweet frilly dress paired with a dark leather jacket

A giant bag to hold my camera, sunglasses, keys, cell phone (if I didn't leave it at home), book, other camera, wallet, more keys, lip gloss, journal/notebook/idea keeper, chap stick....

A really comfy tee & high waisted mini skirt. And a clutch for when I don't want to lug around a giant bag.

Long dresses are my weakness. I honestly think they're perfect for every summer occasion.

A chunky necklace and a girly ribbon.

A healthy laptop so my life can go back to normal. I'm pathetic, huh?

{ Yellow } J.Crew Style

To continue with my love and appreciation for all things Yellow....I picked some of my favorite pieces from one of my favorite places. Let's face it - nobody does yellow quite like J. Crew

{Top to bottom: Herringbone Fiona jacket, Soft rib long-sleeve V-neck tee, Salina patent-leather ballet flats, Globe-Trotter Centenary 28" suitcase with wheels, Beaded-flower tie belt}

Starting off on the right foot...eventually

Ok it's time to make sure we're all sticking to our resolutions.

Since I haven't got to #1 OR #2 on my resolution list, let's skip ahead to #3 and Organize, Organize, Organize.

And what better way to start organizing your life than in your closet? Jamie gives us a couple great tips on closet organization via Whatiwore:

1. NEVER, ever, put anything dirty or wrinkled back into your closet. Throw it on your ironing board or if you can’t be bothered, take it to the cleaners. Your closet should not be a house of stress and “nothing to wear”. Your closet should be a place for things you care for and want to put on your body. Not a bunch of junk that doesn’t reflect how you feel about yourself.

2. There’s no contest on who has the most clothes. If it doesn’t fit, you don’t like it anymore and doesn’t reflect your personal style (like if it was a gift from old Aunt Betty) GET RID OF IT.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Numero quatro on my list is: Stop Complaining. And since I feel like I just got run over by a truck and I'm still here at work when I should be wrapped up in a blanket under the influence of Tylenol PM and watching soap operas - I'm going to put that one off until next week.

#5 is Be Creative. {See number 4}

However I do think this is cleverly creative and I think I can muster up the energy to do at least one thing today....

Pretty Bitter Stationery

....drive to the drugstore and pick up some Tylenol PM. Goodnight.
