BottleHood

Over the weekend Rich and I took the coaster down to Solana Beach to meet up with friends for Fiesta Del Sol. We had a great day enjoying some beer, listening to great music and checking out all the great arts and crafts. One booth that stuck out to me was the BottleHood booth. A local company that recycles wine, liquor and beer bottles of local bars and restaurants and turns them into incredible glassware, dishware and even jewelry!

A vase made from a bottle of Tequila

Tumblers made from recycled wine bottles

Glasses made from Skyy Vodka bottles

What a simple idea and yet such a cool concept. San Diegans are lucky to have such creative artists around who are making our city a cleaner {and more beautiful} place. Check out their website!

Bummer -- I miss another awesome SD event. At least this time I had a good excuse and was attending one on the east coast myself. These bottles are wonderful -- I love the concept.
