I'm really trying not to buy anything "new" for the new house but I think the exception may be "homemade." Why look any further than Etsy for unique homemade items or fabulous vintage finds. Just some lovelies I found while window shopping...

Handmade doesn't always count as "new", especially if it is made of recycled fabric, yarn, etc. Or if the couch is old and it has just been refinished. That is how I would justify the purchase :) I say treat yourself! You have been waiting for your first home for a long while. Indulge a little and congrats by the way!
