And the { hunt } goes on....

Ok if you have $100,000 in CASH to put down on a house - go buy a bigger one. Leave us little guys to our tiny 700sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached dreams. That's all.

Thank you for all your vibes! This house must not have been the one. So I know your crossed fingers will get us to our home soon enough.

Here's a pretty photo of my new blouse {just because}...

And here's the song I will continue to sing in my head until we finally find our home. Mushaboom by Feist

Helping the kids out of their coats
But wait the babies haven't been born oh
Unpacking the bags and setting up
And planting lilacs and buttercups oh

But in the meantime we've got it hard
Second floor living without a yard
It may be years until the day
My dreams will match up with my pay

Old dirt road,
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
knee deep snow
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
o-o-o-o-old

I got a man to stick it out
And make a home from a rented house oh
And we'll collect the moments one by one
I guess that's how the future's done oh

How many acres, how much light
Tucked in the woods and out of sight
Talk to the neighbours and tip my cap
On a little road barely on the map

Old dirt road,
mushaboom, mushaboom)
knee deep snow
mushaboom, mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow,
mushaboom, mushaboom)
o-o-o-o-old
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
Old dirt road rambling rose
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow
(mushaboom, mushaboom)
Well I'm Sold...

Sorry friend :( But... I agree that it wasn't the one apparently and also, love that song and never really thought about what the words meant. Perfection! xoxo

That wasn't your house then. You'll find it, she'll come.

Is it funny that I think your house is a girl?

First of all, I love the picture, I think I added it as a fave on flickr :)
Second, I'm sorry to hear you are disappointed. But don't feel too bad! I am sure you will find a better option soon. Last year when I was looking for an apartment, I found one that was really good and we decided to buy it, but then the owners raised the price and we gave up. Two weeks later I found this lovely new place and I love it!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, girl and don't worry :)
