Sneak Peek { Erin & Steve } Oh and { finally } the REALLY BIG news

R & I shot our first wedding! While in Hawaii we not only attended the wedding of our great friends Erin & Steve but we were also the official wedding photographers. {Isn't Erin gorgeous??}

Here's a sneak peek {many more to come} but I just couldn't wait to post one. As you may have guessed I have my laptop back but since I had to replace the hard drive I need to figure out a way to get my photoshop and lightroom back to begin the real editing process.

So the wedding was fabulous, the experience was awesome and we're so honored to have captured this incredible couple's big day!

Stay tuned!!

{ Escape }

This blog is my escape. I can do anything, say whatever and go anywhere. And after another rough day at work { who wants to hire me as their personal photographer so I can get out of this place? } I need a real escape. A serious escape. A leave all my troubles behind escape.

It may just be me but it seems as if everyone in the blogging world is talking about Paris these days and It's really starting to rub off on me. I can't think of a more beautiful, calming place to escape. Here are just a few things I want to see, taste, feel while on my imaginary Parisian holiday...come away with me.

Dear Zulu

Photo by me

Dear Zulu,

In case you weren't aware, you're the light of our lives, the apple of our eyes....we couldn't ask for a better dog. You're smart, you give awesome high fives, you never bark or growl, you twirl better than any other dog I've ever seen, you have mastered the art of cuddling and best of all you make us laugh til we cry. You are the perfect dog.

So Zu girl, can I ask you a question?

Why have you decided to stop sleeping through the night? Why at 1 1/2 years old are you, a perfectly crate trained pup, waking up at 4am crying and scratching to get out? You never have to go to the bathroom, it seems as if you just want to play. Where did your schedule get so messed up? And can we please go back to getting a full 8 hours of sleep?

We would really like that.

Love,

Your (very tired) parents
