Oyster Box Hotel

While in South Africa we had tea at the Oyster Box Hotel {which just happens to be where Rich's parents celebrated their wedding night.} The hotel is incredible. The detail in the decor was fantastic.

The view from the pool deck. Unfortunately the weather wasn't ideal that day.
The image on the right is from the bar looking down through a glass floor into a private room/wine cellar. What a great place for a private party!
This room was my favorite. I think it's their formal dining room. The blue is stunning and I love the pops of red in the artwork.
And of course the chandelier....
The bar had a nautical theme that was tastefully done and not too "themey." Rich and I want those ceiling fans! And all the fabric was perfection.
All photos are by me - to see more visit the hotel website here.

I sometimes have trouble believing that places like this are real and that people actually stay at them and work at them. That formal dining room -- I love the blue.
