{The Daily Bed}So what do you think? Our room in a blank slate right now so the possibilities are endless. Our budget however is not. Which is why I hope to make our future headboard. Can I handle upholstering and tufting my own? Will I find the perfect wood piece at a thrift store?

I love the way the last three photos really have headboards that are outside of what's normally done. They're beautiful. And really do anchor the room. Someday...
I love the tufted headboard look. I am also trying to get motivated to make my own headboard. I love the door idea but the tufted headboard always wins me over! Can't wait to see what you decide on.

You could make up your own version.
I want a new headboard as well. I have been eyeing a few at potterybarn that I would love to get. If I had more room and was crafty I would attempt to make one but I dont see that happening any time soon.
I really like tufted headboards too. You might check out Ballard Designs, they have affordable pieces like these.
