{ Dream } House

I always say if I could live anywhere in the world {yes the whole entire WORLD} it would be Rancho Santa Fe. A smallish community located about 25 miles north of San Diego with anything but small homes {or bank accounts for that matter}.

Rancho Santa Fe is probably best known for its enormous horse properties. But I love it for the large ranch style homes that make you think you're in the middle of the country {a tropical country} while only minutes from the beach and major cities. I love it so much that we were married there.

So today while searching for homes I decided to broaden our horizons {by several million dollars} and found myself drooling over some absolutely amazing homes. This one {below} is actually on the lower end {if you can believe it}

Rich and I would kill for an outdoor living room/bar like this. Sell me this little space and add a tiny bedroom and bathroom and I'm good!

oh my gosh, this is beautiful!!

i so love to follow blogs by americans 'cause you show us the REAL america.
in media here in europe, you'll only see this... "typical" american stuff (fast food, fat people, hollywoodstars, mothers forcing their children to be models, etc.). yeah maybe this is a part, but it's not all.
yeah, "typical" was not the right word 'cause I know it is not typical... I think they just want us europeans to believe it is like that.

I often hear.. "americans, they're superficial and freaky."
Then I just think to myself... you don't know nothing at all... ;-)

Ok, now that as nothing to do with the topic of your post. I just wanted to say, how much I love it (the blog) and your work. And that amercians influence my life now more than ever ;)
