My Mom is hands down my best friend - I think everyone knows this about me. I can't imagine that will ever change. I'm almost 30 years old and still consult my Mom before nearly every decision I make.
As I get older I realize I'm becoming more and more like her and that is a HUGE and AWESOME thing to me. Most people dread turning into their mothers and I always wished it would happen to me.
However one thing we do not have in common is our appearance. With dark hair, skin and eyes and her perfect little nose she is practically my polar opposite. Though I think we have a similar smile which is good enough for me.
Here are a few "oldish" photos of my hippie, flower child, Christmas Princess, tomboy, best friend and MOM.

Despite the fact that I'm extremely jealous of Dany and her forever young look, she is an amazing mom and you are very lucky to have her. Wish she and Michael were able to make it to Maui.
