{ Vintage } Photos

It seems like there's a real vintage trend going on in the photography world. What's old is new again, I guess. Not sure about you - but sometimes I spend hours making a digital photo look like it was taken 30 years ago on film and run through the washing machine several hundred times.

So you can imagine my delight when my Mom sent some old family photos. The ones above and below are of my Grandpa {Mom's Dad} when he was in the Air Force. I have some of my Gran, some of my Mom (she was such a hottie!) and some of little me (an early 80s child) that I will share a little later.

I love this one - It looks like a scene from South Pacific and they're about to break into a song and dance number...

Wasn't he the cutest?? He passed his gorgeous dark skin down to my Mom but it stopped there. I look nothing like either of them!

Stay tuned for lots more...

Great pics! Can't wait to see more.
I completely understand the gorgeous dark skin thing. I am the only pale one in the family!!!

Mal - I know! Us and our pathetic pale skin! Well maybe some of those Friedly genes will be passed along to our kids ;)

James - ha - some of them are hysterical!! Just you wait...

I was NOT expecting to see my dad on the internet. Nice way to start the day though. Thank you Shelby!
