The ER: My Second Home

So last night was a little exciting. We made our second trip to an emergency hospital in less than two weeks (the first one was with little Zulu at the emergency vet) and last night was my lovely fiance who decided to have to cocktails and juggle knives.

Actually he was sharpening a new knife set when he sliced his arm open, hitting an artery. This led to A LOT of blood and Deb and I running around in circles trying to figure out what to do next. (Good thing the victim was calm.)

We rushed him to the emergency room (Thank God for sport mode) and after he passed out in the parking lot we were able to get him stitched up and home safe.

Deb kindly informed me that these are the kinds of things I should expect when marrying a Clark. And it's clear this accident prone Clark gene has been passed along to Zulu as well. Should be an exciting life.

Shelby your calmness and humor in this situation made me smile just now. I am glad Rich and Zulu are okay, and hope that Rich learns that knives are dangerous!

Glad Rich is alright. No more playing with knives. Keep an eye on those two trouble-makers!
