24 hours from now R and I will be on a plane to Hawaii! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am and how badly I need a little break. However there is some very important business on this particular trip - good business. And I'll tell you all about it when we get back.

Lately I have this urge to get outside and be one with nature. Camping, hiking, biking - anything. Maybe I'm ready for Spring/Summer or maybe it's because I finally watched Into the Wild. Two wonderful hours of Eddie serenading me is my idea of heaven.

So what are your weekend plans? Venturing outside? Or shackin up indoors? Either way I hope it is wildly wonderful.

Vintage Photos Continued { Mom }

She's going to kill me...

My Mom is hands down my best friend - I think everyone knows this about me. I can't imagine that will ever change. I'm almost 30 years old and still consult my Mom before nearly every decision I make.

As I get older I realize I'm becoming more and more like her and that is a HUGE and AWESOME thing to me. Most people dread turning into their mothers and I always wished it would happen to me.

However one thing we do not have in common is our appearance. With dark hair, skin and eyes and her perfect little nose she is practically my polar opposite. Though I think we have a similar smile which is good enough for me.

Here are a few "oldish" photos of my hippie, flower child, Christmas Princess, tomboy, best friend and MOM.

ME: 10

As mentioned earlier I chose to use the fantastic Poladroid program for my 365 shots this week. It was so much fun that I ended up taking multiple shots each day. And I still have two days left!
