Sing Stars

Ok so obviously I have some sort of sick obsession with video games. Make that games in general. I can't get enough. I would play board games every night if Rich would let me.

So this is me "attempting " Sing Star. If you know me at all you know I'm COMPLETELY tone deaf. The photos are quite embarrassing and as you can see even Zulu thinks I 'm crazy. Disclaimer: this was late at night and after a significant amount of alcohol.

Not sure if Zu was really getting into it or if she was just trying to eat the microphone to make it stop.

Fenway

Introducing the newest member to the Pell Place family..........

Fenway! Isn't he adorable. I love all of his little squishy wrinkles!

Zulu ran 50 mph laps around him while he just sat there and stared at her like she was crazy. She is, Fenway. She is.

Springtime

Yesterday for Flickr Group Roulette I had to take photos of something "green." Not the color green but more "environmentally green" (whatever that means). So mustering up all the creativity I could find (sarcasm) I took this shot outside at the dog run behind our complex.

My excuse is that I was too distracted by Fenway the 3 month old Bulldog puppy (stupid name, cute dog) to get anymore creative with my shots.

So while not working today I compiled all my outtakes from yesterdays "photo shoot" into one pretty little collage for you all to enjoy. Photos of little Fenway will come later.....Happy Spring!

Why Thank You Gran!

Yes I'm 27 (almost 28) years old and my Gran still sends me care packages. I wouldn't have it any other way and neither would she.

The care packages come twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. They all - regardless of season - contain chocolate, dishtowels, body washes and scrubs, some sort of candle and lots and lots of hand sanitizers.

Oh and she always makes sure I notify her as soon as I receive the package so she can throw her shipping receipt away. Oh the stress she must endure those few days that box is in transit.

Last week I received my Spring care package and inside I was delighted to find these ADORABLE Easter candles.

I love them so much that they're still sitting on my counter almost a week after Easter.

And Gran, if you're reading this - Zulu would like to THANK YOU for her delicious treats. She said that she loves you very much and is so proud to be your Great GrandDog.

My favorite part of the care packages is the little sticky notes Gran leaves throughout the box. She's so witty and cute, they crack me up every time. The one above says "Big bag for little dog, don't let her eat chocolate." Gran, I think Zu can handle that big bag - no problem.

Flickr Nerd

Why do I have a baseball glove on my head?
Because I'm a flickr nerd....

This is the kind of stuff that gets you on Explore! Ha!

It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown

Zu girl and I watched the Charlie Brown Easter special the other day. She begged and begged until I caved. She thinks that Snoopy is so dreamy.....

Old Town

Yesterday we spent a couple hours in Old Town. One of my favorite places on Earth! I'm sad I only have a few photos to show since I could spend days taking thousands of photos there. In fact, I will be back and I will take more photos so that I do this little corner of San Diego some justice. Until then enjoy the few I was able to take....

Today is St. Patty's Day and while we don't have any plans, I do expect to go home to a beer drinking, Irish Car-bombing, jig-dancing (ok not really) fiance. Should be interesting.

Guitar Heroes

The whole Clark family is now in California! Woo hoo! Deb just moved all the way from Manhattan to Del Mar. She's now only about a 5 minute walk from Rich and I. So to welcome Deb to California we decided to break out the Guitar Hero....

Deb and Rene definitely took home the prize for most enthusiastic. Rene is the most animated Rock Star I've ever seen! Priceless. And with all the yelling and foot stomping I'm shocked our neighbors below didn't complain.

Once again Zulu was not impressed with our game playing. She was content to sit in her bean bag chair and nibble on her bone.

and I'm only posting this one so I can show off my ring again...

Welcome!

I'm glad you found me! I moved over here so that I could access my blog from computers other than my Macbook, meaning my computer at work; since that's when I seem to have the most time to update my blogs =)
